Participation: Paper Positions Vienna
We were delighted to take part in the second edition of Paper Positions Vienna, following the fair’s debut last year.
At the historic Semperdepot – once a production site for monumental stage sets – Galerie 3AP presented its curated format BLÜTENLESE. Over the course of the fair, three alternating shows unfolded, each focusing on a concise selection of works in drawing, photography, and etching.

upcoming: participation at Paper Positions Vienna
13. – 16. November, Semper Depot | Booth 18
now available: ‚an nichts‘ poems by Toni Meyer
„Woran denkst du gerade?“ – „An nichts.“
With an nichts Galerie 3AP presents the first publication of poems by artist Toni Meyer. Her poems observe what is easily overlooked: the sound of footsteps on fresh gravel, the vanishing of a fly in an eye, the waiting for chimney smoke. The texts register presence without seeking to interpret it. Edition of 60 copies, signed and numbered.
on view: Julie Mia & R. Aeol „NIGHTWATCH“
Nightwatch, a site-specific installation by Julie Mia in collaboration with R. Aeol, is now on view at the Zentrum für Internationale Künste (ZIK). The conceptual artwork Nightwatch (Nachtwache) explores the interplay of light and darkness within ongoing urban transformation processes.
on view: Nadine Karl „79. INTERNATIONALE BERGISCHE KUNSTAUSSTELLUNG“
As part of the 79th International Bergische Art Exhibition, Nadine Karl presents a spatial installation that weaves together photography, sculpture, sound, scent, and elemental materials into a quietly immersive environment. At its center lies a mixture of fill sand and silver sand – a substance that functions both as a fragment of landscape and a metaphysical cipher.
press: Galerie 3AP and Nadine Karl at the Frankfurt Art Experience 2025
Our exhibition Epiphenomenon by Nadine Karl was featured in several publications, including FAZ, FNP, Monopol, and Journal Frankfurt, as part of the Saisonstart Frankfurt/Main. Many thanks to everyone who helped make this launch so special!
now open: Julian Heuser, Nadine Karl, Toni Meyer, Julie Mia, and Lara Werth „Suspension of Disbelief 2“
Suspension of Disbelief 2 continues the exploration of perception, illusion, and emotional projection initiated in July 2025 through the work of Julian Heuser, expanding the conceptual framework into a polyphonic group exhibition marking the season’s opening. Curated by Aileen Treusch, the show brings together works who examine and broaden the theme from diverse artistic viewpoints.
now open: Nadine Karl „Epiphenomenon“
In her artistic practice, Nadine Karl explores the multilayered entanglement of temporality and fiction. At the core of her work are analytical dialogues between sculpture and installation that critically question conventional, linear structures of time. Her works transform ephemeral and potential elements into complex, overlapping spatiotemporal configurations that deconstruct concepts of identity and collective memory, making a dynamic, fleeting reality perceptible. A key feature of her practice is the multidimensional approach through various senses: olfactory elements and sound are purposefully used to create immersive experiential spaces that expand and destabilize perception. In doing so, eco-feminist questions increasingly come to the forefront.
now open: air shelter
During Nadine Karl’s exhibition Epiphenomenon, both levels of the gallery will be activated. In addition to the main exhibition space, the air shelter in the basement will also be part of the show.
upcoming: participation at DC Open
We are excited to announce our participation at DC Open 2025 with the upcoming group exhibition Suspension of disbelief II at our Düsseldorf location. The show features works by Julian Heuser, Nadine Karl, Toni Meyer, Julie Mia and Lara Werth.

on view: Roberto Barbosa „Beneath the Rubble Lies the City Where I Built My Home“
now available: Catalogue Into the Light – Jacqueline Hen
We’re delighted to announce that the catalogue Into the Light is now available!
now open: Julian Heuser „Suspension of Disbelief“
We’re excited to open Julian Heuser’s first solo show at Galerie 3AP in Düsseldorf. Suspension of disbelief brings together new paintings that blur the lines between perception, illusion, and emotional reality. Heuser’s work combines techniques from painting, collage, and drawing with the layered codes of comic books, sci-fi pulp (Perry Rhodan), and horror aesthetics. Vivid colors, cryptic symbols, and fantastical forms collide with personal and cultural projections of fear, grief, and transformation.
on view: Lara Werth „Raus aus der Ecke“
At Baustelle Schaustelle — Raum für junge Kunst, the exhibition “Out of the Corner” by Lara Werth explores how physical extremes, mental states of exception, and dense urban imagery merge in her drawing practice.
now open: air shelter
We are delighted to announce the second exhibition in the air-raid shelter, an extension of our new gallery space in Frankfurt am Main. In Der Blick ins Unbekannte (A Glimpse into the Unknown), Willi Bucher presents a site-specific projection that intertwines visual, material, and existential dimensions. At the center is a high-definition video projected onto fine stainless steel mesh – a precise, semi-transparent industrial material whose structure evokes neural networks through its 250-micron weave.
now open: Julie Mia „Ashton Hall“
Ashton Hall? A place, a figure, a story – or none of the above? Julie Mia’s second solo exhibition at Galerie 3AP Frankfurt carries a title that functions like an echo. The artist’s work investigates the fragility of meaning – as an aesthetic principle, an existential condition, and a critical commentary on the relationship between image, material, and perception.

We cordially inviteyou to visit us at our booth (C03), where we will present a selection of young contemporary artists from our gallery program. on view: Ones sunset is another one’s sunrise by Jacqueline Hen
now open: air shelter
We are delighted to announce the first exhibition in the air-raid shelter, an extension of our new gallery space in Frankfurt am Main. With a solo presentation by Jacqueline Hen we would like to introduce the Rhine-Main art scene to a young emerging artist who has gained international recognition with exhibitions in London, Milan, Amsterdam and Hong Kong. Her work „Inflect“ was created in close connection with her large-scale installation „Light High“, for which she won the Light-Art-Prize in 2019. Both works explore themes of space, sound, the digital and the analog, as well as how humans perceive these structures and principles of order. Consciously engaging with sensory stimuli and the impressions they evoke plays a central role in the artist’s work. Photo: Thorsten Wagner
now open: Lara Werth „Niemandsland“
We are delighted to announce the first exhibition in our new gallery space in Frankfurt am Main. With a solo show by Lara Werth, we would like to introduce the Rhine-Main art scene to a young emerging artist. The subject of her works are deserted hidden object images of dystopian urban spaces, created with Edding, acrylic marker, chalk, oil pencil and ink on large-format paper.
Celebrating three years!

now open: Roberto Barbosa, Julie Mia and Miriam Schenkirz „bouquet“
bouquet – Roberto Barbosa, Julie Mia and Miriam Schenkirz
Whether carefully arranged or wildly assembled, the motif of the bouquet and the eponymous exhibition reveal social expectations or the pursuit of aesthetic constellations. In analogy to the art of flower arranging, the works by Roberto Barbosa, Julie Mia and Miriam Schenkirz are poetic arrangements that represent a relationship to objects, to themselves or to nature, as well as a feeling that may have moved them during the process of creating them. We look forward to seeing you again.
