With BLÜTENLESE, we present an evolving exhibition concept as part of paper positions vienna. Each day, the booth is newly arranged, showcasing works in drawing, photography, and etching. The focus is on young, emerging artists whose precise and powerful works reveal the rich diversity of contemporary paper-based art. Individual “blossoms” come together to form a poetic whole. At the same time, BLÜTENLESE reinterprets the art fair format and introduces a model that, through temporal compression, generates new impulses for both visitors and exhibitors. It does so in the spirit of paper itself: a fleeting, fast-moving, yet uniquely sensual medium and, for centuries, one of the central carriers of artistic expression.
