Jacqueline Hen will be participating in »return«, an upcoming exhibition at the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum (RJM) in Cologne.
Transforming the museum into a space of encounter and exchange, »return« brings together artists and communities to explore questions of memory, displacement, belonging, and futurity. What does return mean when there is no way back? What kinds of relationships can emerge from exile, displacement, and loss? And when connections are disrupted, how can new forms of belonging and togetherness take shape?
In “One’s sunset is another one’s sunrise”, light, water, and sound come together to connect individual experience with collective rhythm. The immersive installation invites visitors into a multilayered perceptual experience, where shifting atmospheres and sensory encounters create a space for reflection and connection.
Jacqueline Hen (*1989) works across painting, light installation, and spatial experimentation.
