upcoming: Jacqueline Hen »LUX« at Light Festival in Emmen (Netherlands)

News — 10.09.26

Jacqueline Hen will be participating in »LUX«, an upcoming exhibition hosted by DIEP Emmen at the Biochron in Emmen, the Netherlands. The exhibition explores light as an art form, featuring works by a diverse range of contemporary national and international artists.

In Hen’s installation “One’s sunset is another one’s sunrise”, light, water, and sound come together to connect individual experience with collective rhythm. The immersive installation invites visitors into a multilayered perceptual experience, where shifting atmospheres and sensory encounters create a space for reflection and connection.

Jacqueline Hen (*1989) works across painting, light installation, and spatial experimentation. Hen was awarded the Light Art Award Unna and has developed an international exhibition practice, including Hong Kong, San Francisco, and Paris. She studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and the Art Center College of Design, Los Angeles, and worked at Studio Tomás Saraceno. Alongside her artistic practice, Hen also engages in research and teaching on contemporary design approaches, exploring principles such as interaction, rhythm, and spatial perception.
