Join us for the finissage: Saturday March 14th, 4–6 PM
Final day to visit the evolving exhibition »Bodies in Residue« and gain insight into the residency process, during which artist Camie Klein further developed the work FUGUE from February to March 2026. The installation centers on a door positioned on the floor, slightly tilted as if ajar, its opening sealed with metal elements. Covered in soap, the surface becomes a permeable threshold. Soap, a recurring sculptural and performative material in Klein’s practice, becomes a site of inscription that engages questions of care, transformation, and bodily presence. Throughout the residency, collected blood is tattooed into the soap covered surface. The artist’s own blood appears as a recurring element within the work, while visitors are invited to voluntarily donate blood and participate in the evolving piece. An impression of the residency process will be presented at the finissage of the exhibition
