The start of a series that brings food and community together within the context of art.

The beginning is butter.

A quiet but steady companion through the ages, butter carries stories and community within it. It‘s not a product that needs explaining. Most of us already know what it means. Instead of overstating it, we simply highlight the role it already has. This series sees food as what it‘s always been: a reason to come together. Art picks up on that moment and draws attention to itself. Together, something new emerges.
