now open: Lara Werth „Niemandsland“

News 04.04.25

We are delighted to announce the first exhibition in our new gallery space in Frankfurt am Main. With a solo show by Lara Werth, we would like to introduce the Rhine-Main art scene to a young emerging artist with whom we have been working successfully since the founding of our gallery in Düsseldorf 3 years ago. The subject of Werth’s works are deserted hidden object images of dystopian urban spaces, created with Edding, acrylic marker, chalk, oil pencil and ink on large-format paper. These detailed and infinitely intricate drawings bear witness to chaotic cityscapes and fragile balances of urban (sub)cultures. Using the medium of drawing, the exhibition „Niemandsland“ (No Man’s Land) poses questions about homeland (Heimat), travelling, a sense of belonging and the feeling of strangeness, but also nature as a refuge for mankind. Lara Werth graduated from Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in June 2024 with Katharina Wulff (Meisterschülerin), previously studying with Siegfried Anzinger (Meisterschülerin).
