Join us for the final days of servusparadies – wie geht’s? at Galerie 3AP Frankfurt.

Following Metamorphosis (2024) in Düsseldorf, Galerie 3AP continues its engagement with Bucher’s practice, bringing together works from his Sprachlandschaften (Language Landscapes) series alongside paintings from his yellow body of work.

At the centre of the exhibition is the diptych servusparadies – wie geht’s?, part of the Sprachlandschaften series, developed since the 1990s. Combining painting and print, Bucher approaches language as visual material, allowing image and language to unfold in relation to one another.

The exhibition concludes in the former air shelter beneath the gallery, where the video installation Putzkonzert (Cleaning Concert) is presented alongside works from the series Fleißendes Weiß, projected through Bucher’s beboxx objects. Developed by the artist as a medium for working with light and glass, the beboxx expands the image beyond the traditional picture surface.
