Lara Werth: „Raus aus der Ecke“

At BAUSTELLE SCHAUSTELLE — Raum für junge Kunst, the exhibition “Out of the Corner” by Lara Werth explores how physical extremes, mental states of exception, and dense urban imagery merge in her drawing practice. Anchored by the large-scale work A Few Miles (2025) and accompanied by smaller pieces like Hill Sprints (2024) and Water Loading (2025), the show traces running as a creative method: as reflection, as resistance, and as preparation. Werth’s drawings do not depict physical movement but condense inner states into restless, overloaded urban landscapes populated by power lines, highways, and primordial creatures. Here, drawing becomes an act of endurance and vulnerability: a visual language shaped by exhaustion, desire, and the will to keep going.
